Description

Sponsored by Tyrrell Auto Centers

The community is invited to Romero Park, on the banks of Crow Creek, to celebrate the naming of the city by General Dodge. Dodge arrived in what is now Cheyenne with a charge from Union Pacific Railroad to develop a city as a stop on the railroad’s westward expansion.

There will also be games for kids of all ages and information about Cheyenne’s founding, history and heritage, along with Pepie the Clown and a hoola-hoop show!

Food and beverage will be available for purchase; or you can bring your own! We’ll provide an ice cream treat.
