CFD How to Get Around

Parking lots at Frontier Park (8th and Carey Avenues) charge $25 per vehicle. No overnight camping is permitted. Lots open at 7 a.m. and are locked at 1 a.m. Street parking in neighborhoods south of the park is free. Be aware that strict parking rules must be followed; cars will be towed at owner's expense.

Handicapped / Assisted Parking

Individuals who need assistance with parking or seating should contact the Cheyenne Frontier Days ticket office at (307) 778-7222. Two designated parking areas are set aside; one near the ticket office (8th Avenue at Frontier Park) and the other in the "C" Lot (off Carey Avenue). Volunteers are ready to assist with transportation.

Park and Ride

Cheyenne Frontier Days has a Park and Ride lot just a few minutes from Frontier Park. The parking lot is located off Interstate 25 on the "Missile Drive/Happy Jack Rd" exit. On southbound I-25 take exit 10D; Northbound take exit 10B. The "Bull" lot is at Happy Jack and I-25, Once parked, take the blue shuttle bus. For $20 per carload, you get service to the gate and back to your car, and it includes gate admission for everyone in the car.  The bus is handicap accessible. It runs from noon to 12:30 am the first Saturday through the final Sunday.

The Downtown Express Shuttle runs daily, July 21-30, between Frontier Park and downtown. Sponsored by the DDA, the free shuttle departs the Depot at 121 W. 15th Street beginning at 10:00 am, and at the top of every hour until 6:00 pm. It departs from CFD, west of the main entrance at tour bus parking, at the bottom of the hour until 5:30 pm. The buses are handicapped accessible.

  • Jack Spiker Parking Garage with Bus Transfer Station: Parking in the Jack Spiker Parking Garage (Carey Avenue and 17th Street) is $4.00 a day.
