Community Thanksgiving dinner -

Nov. 25, noon to 4 p.m.  Free dinner, featuring roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, giblet gravy, green beans and more. Everyone is welcome. Cheyenne-Kiwanis Community House in Lions Park.

Christkindlemart - Nov. 26-28. Enjoy craft vendors with Christmas ornaments, decorations and specialty gifts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Depot Lobby. 632-3905.

Cheyenne Christmas Parade Craft Show - Nov 26-27. Fri. & Sat. 11 am-8 pm at the Laramie County Library. 221-1686.

Holiday Tea - Nov. 26-27, Dec. 4, Dec. 10-11, Dec. 17-18, Dec. 26. Celebrate the holidays by joining us for our annual Holiday Afternoon Tea. The first seating begins at 1:30 and the last seating is at 3:40 pm.  The price is $18.95 plus tax and gratuity. Nagle Warren Mansion. 637-3333.

Christmas with the King - Nov. 26.  George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band appearing one night only, Cheyenne Civic Center. 637-6363. Proceeds from the sale of tickets go to the Christmas Parade Committee to support the Christmas Parade, Concert and Craft Show.

Santa visits the Depot - Nov. 27, Dec. 4, Dec. 11, Dec. 18. Children are welcome to come and sit with Santa Claus in the Depot lobby from 10 a.m. to Noon. 632-3905.

Cheyenne Christmas Parade - Nov 27. Saturday the parade kicks off at 5 p.m. at 17th Street and Carey Avenue. It marches north on Carey to 24th Street, then turns right to Capitol Avenue. The parade makes another right on Capitol and heads back down to 16th street. It makes another right on 16th, and ends at Pioneer Avenue. The parade features brightly illuminated floats, horse drawn wagons, bands, clowns, antique autos, and colorful marching groups. The parade lasts about an hour and 15 minutes.

Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Show - Nov. 28. The Oak Ridge Boys kick off this big show with their world famous four-part harmonies and string of hits that spans 3 decades. After a short intermission, the stage is transformed and it's Christmas! The trees are decorated, the snow is falling and the Oak Ridge Boys treat you to Christmas favorites as only they can. Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Little America Hotel Lobby - Dec. 2, from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Get in the Holiday Spirit and bring the family out to see our Holiday Lights then come inside and enjoy complimentary Hot Chocolate, Warm Apple Cider and Holiday Treats next to our large cozy fireplace in the main lobby!  While you're here shop in our unique gift store and enjoy a 10% discount! Happy Hour in Hathaway's Lounge with festive holiday specials from 5pm-7pm!

Christmas House - Dec. 3-4. The home of Dr. Rene Hinkle, 9117 Wildflower. Tour this beautiful Tuscan Style home filled with hand crafted items. Delicious delights, green wreaths, swags, and poinsettias. Tickets: $6 each, children 5 & under free. Friday, 9 am - 7 pm. Saturday, 9 am - 3 pm. For tickets and more information call 634-0623.

Tinsel through Time - Dec. 3. Explore Christmas traditions, live holiday music and refreshments while the Mansion glistens and glosws with several decades of holiday decor. This unique free exhibit featuring numerous trees with all the historic trimmings will continue to be on display for the public to view December 4th - 23rd, Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  and December 24th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Historic Governors' Mansion, 300 E. 21st St. 5-8 p.m. 777-7878.

A Christmas Carol - Dec. 3-5, 10-12. Presented by the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players. The Historic Atlas Theatre. Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30 pm. Sunday matinees at 2 pm.

Create a Christmas Tree - Dec. 4. Create a Christmas tree ornament in celebration of the Wyoming tree being selected to be the Christmas tree at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Ages 5-12. 10am - 12 pm. Old West Museum. 778-1416

5th Annual Santa's Little Helpers Fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse - We will be open for lunch on December 6th thru the 10th from 11-2 and it is strictly a donation for the lunch.  We will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, ceaser salad, and a soft drink.  All proceeds will go to Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.

Teen Holiday House Contest - Dec. 6. Bring your best ideas to the table and create a winning confectionary holiday house. We'll provide the basics and plenty of frosting. Feel free to bring extra goodies to embellish your house. The winner will receive a prize. 6 pm. Laramie County Library. 634-3561.

1,000 Faces of Santa - Dec. 6 - 26. Cheyenne Botanic Gardens in the Paul Smith Children's Village.

Great Russian Nutcracker - Dec. 8. Moscow Ballet's spectacular holiday event that brings friends and family together. $27.50 - $67-50. 7 PM. Cheyenne Civic Center. 637-6363.

Holiday Gala Concert - Dec. 10. LCCC choirs and bands. 7:30 PM. Cheyenne Civic Center.

Christmas Choral Festival - Dec. 12.  A Christmas choral concert presented by the LCCC Collegiate Chorale and Kantorei Singers, the Cheyenne Chamber Singers, the Capitol Chorale, the All-City Children's Choir, and the East and Central High school Chorales.  Free, however tickets are necessary and may be found at Niemann's and Yocum music stores. 7 p.m. Cheyenne Civic Center.

Holiday Tea - Dec. 12. Tour the Mansion fuly decorated, enjoy tea and music. $15 per person. 2-2:30 p.m. Please RSVP. Seating is limited to 30. Historic Governors' Mansion. 300 E. 21st St. 777-7878.

Cheyenne Street Railway Holiday Light Tours - Dec. 15-24. Behold the spectacular holiday light displays throughout our city while riding the enchanting Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley.  Tickets should be purchased in advance; they go on sale December 1 at Visit Cheyenne, located in the historic Depot at 121 W. 15th St., or with a credit card at 307-778-3133. The cost of the tickets is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The tours run at 6 PM and 8 PM each night.
