Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley

Fully-narrated Historic Tours on the enclosed Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley.   The 2013 season begins May 10 and runs through the end of September.

Season Begins May 10

The Friday, May 10, tours are the regular 90-minute historic tours and cost $10 for adults, $5 for children. They leave the Depot at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The weekend of May 11 and 12 are special tours for Laramie County Residents, costing $2 per person, and featuring a one-hour historically narrated tour of the downtown.The tours are at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. both days.

All tickets are purchased at the Cheyenne Depot, West 15th Street and Capitol Avenue, with the trolley leaving from in front of the Depot on Capitol Avenue just south of the Lincolnway intersection.

Regular Schedule

Weekdays: 90-minute tours leaving at 10 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm, & 4 pm, with stops at the Depot Museum, Nelson Museum of the West, Wyoming State Museum, Wyoming State Capitol Building, Botanic Gardens, Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, and the Historic Governors' Mansion.

Note: On national holidays during the week (Labor Day, Memorial Day) the Trolley usually runs its Saturday schedule, 10 am & 1:30 pm, with one stop at the Old West Museum or another attraction. 

Sat. 10 am tour & 1:30 pm tour. Sun. 1:30 pm tour (includes free stop at the Old West Museum).*

*At times of excessive traffic or special events at the Old West Museum, the Trolley may include a stop at another attractions, such as the Wyoming State Museum.

Holidays follow Saturday schedule, 10 am & 1:30.

Tickets are available at the Historic Depot at West 15th Street and Capitol Avenue and cost $10 adults, $5 children (ages 2-12) or $17 Trolley Plus Adult Pass, which includes admittance to the Old West Museum, Nelson Museum, and Depot Museum.

Holiday Tours

Special Halloween Ghost Tours and Christmas Light Tours are available every year. 2013 Ghost Tours are Oct 18, 19, 25, 26 and 27. Tickets go on sale October 1.

2012 Holiday Light Tours: Dec. 13-24. Tickets go on sale December 1 at Visit Cheyenne in the historic Depot at 121 W. 15th St. Tickets may be purchased with a credit card at 307-778-3133. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tours run at 6 and 8 p.m. each night.
