Terry Bison Ranch

The majestic bison, America’s mammal, no other creature personifies the Great Plains and wide open spaces of the West. While free roaming herds of bison are a rarity today, you can experience the size, strength and majesty of these animals on 30,000 acres of rolling hills and lush prairie grasslands.

Terry Bison Ranch is home to more than 2,300 grazing bison. Board the train and enjoy a ride through the ranch and take advantage of the opportunity to hand feed the herd.  Other fun family activities include the Sunday lunch train, horseback riding, Kid Corral, trick pony shows, fishing and shopping in the Trading Post.

Are you hungry to find out how good bison is? The ranch is home to The Senator's Restaurant and Brass Buffalo Saloon, a full-service old-West restaurant and saloon. They have won awards for their ribs and Bobby Flay named their Bison Burger the best in the state a few years ago.

Terry Bison Ranch offers your family an authentic old west experience for an afternoon or a couple of days. RV camping is available or you can rent a cabin and enjoy the wide open views of the plains from your front porch. It will be an experience the whole family remembers for years to come.
