7:15 P.M. Rabbit-Proof Fence, PG- Golden Globe Nominee. Australian Aborigine children indoctrinated to become servants.
5:30 P.M. Deacons for Defense, R- Showtime Entertainment. They confronted the Ku Klux Klan, defiant and determined.
7:15 P.M. Tell Them We Are Rising, F- A Film by Stanley Nelson. Since the Civil War HBCUs have educated black leaders in every field.
5:30 P.M. The Displaced Person, F- Set in Georgia in the late 1940s. A surviving holocaust family is relocated to Mrs. Mcintyre’s farm.
6:45 P.M. No Way Out, NR. This intense drama reveals how often overt racial hatred revives from self-pity and defeat.
9:00 A.M. G L O R Y, PG- Three Academy Awards. The Black Civil War 54th Regiment- a fighting force that changed the direction of the war.
