It's time to get a little edgy!
The free outdoor music festival started as a party in 2014 hosted by Warehouse Twenty One and has grown into an annual event.
Based out of Detroit, JR JR’s music has been featured on a variety of TV shows, movies and promotional material, including “I Am Cait,” “Sausage Party” and “iZombie.” They also have appeared on “The Late Show with James Corden,” showing off their indie pop and electronic style.
Texas country artist Paul Cauthen and the southern rock group Seratones will also appear at the festival, which is slated to start at 5 p.m. at the city’s municipal parking lot, 2101 O’Neil Ave. Cauthen was recently selected by Rolling Stone as one of the top 10 new country artists you need to know. The Seratones pull influences from garage rock, as well as groups like Black Sabbath.
The festival will also include food trucks, vendors and alcohol sales. For more information, visit www.edgefest.com.
