Join us for the second annual music fest that combines world music and a love for libraries and their communities. All performances are free to attend—this year they will be indoors! Alcohol and limited food will be available for purchase. (All Ages; Cottonwood Room)
Friday, September 8 Bobby Phillipps: 5:00 p.m. A local musician whose repertoire includes blues, folk, rock, heavy metal, and pop. Also one of our very own library employees!
Saturday, September 9
Paul Taylor: 10:00 a.m. Didgeridoo player and children’s storyteller, all the way from Australia.
Adam Miller: 11:15 a.m. Storytelling and folk music sung and played on the autoharp.
Synesthesia: 4:00 p.m. A local quartet specializing in chamber music.
West African Kora: 5:30 p.m. Traditional music played on the kora, a West African 21-stringed harp.
Sambadendê: 7:30 p.m. Street-ensemble rhythms and samba-reggae music from Brazil.
