About the Wyoming State Motor Pool
The State of Wyoming Motor Vehicle Management System (also known as MVMS or Motor Pool) is responsible for the procurement, replacement, maintenance, and disposal of all vehicles owned by the Motor Pool Division. We manage over 1,000 permanently assigned vehicles, along with a reservation pool of 75 vehicles for use by state employees on a per trip basis. Our goal is to make state travel as comfortable, safe, and easy as possible.
MVMS will support vehicles purchased with Federal Funds up to 10 years or 100k miles.
Please Note:
MVMS rental rates include 1000 miles a week, 4000 miles a month.
Any excess mileage will be billed the P.A. rate for that Vehicle class.
Rental vehicles are limited to 30 days at a time.
No agency can rent or reserve more than 5 vehicles at a time.
TELEMATICS (GPS & ONBOARD DIAGNOSTICS)
The Department of Administration & Information is pleased to partner with AT&T and Geotab's telematics system with the State of Wyoming.
The addition of telematics will make the most of state resources and fulfill our commitment to the public and the environment, as well as ensure the safety of our employees. Networkfleet can provide instant access to vehicle locations, engine diagnostics, and driver behavior patterns. A comprehensive view of the fleet will help reduce operational costs, improve vehicle and driver productivity, and integrate seamlessly with our existing AssetWorks fleet maintenance system. Benefits of this software include:

Telematics is used by Motor Pool and Risk Management of A&I General Services to monitor and improve overall fleet operations. The State Vehicle Use Policy includes information for Electronic Tracking Technology (the blanket term for telematics) and other vehicle performance monitoring.
