When you're in the Depot, where Visit Cheyenne's visitor's booth is located, you can share a picture of you on your vacation with friends and family on Facebook, Twitter and email! When traveling on I-80 and entering Wyoming from Nebraska, stop in and check out our welcome center at the Pine Bluffs rest area. Its the perfect place to learn more about what is happening while you are Cheyenne and Laramie County.

Pine Bluffs Visitor Guide: This town is 40 miles east of Cheyenne on the Nebraska border and features the University of Wyoming Archaeological Dig Site, our Lady of Peace Shrine, summertime rodeo, Texas Trail Museum and nature areas. Eastern Laramie County is also home to Burns and Albin.

Tracking Trains: Cheyenne started when the Union Pacific laid tracks heading west there in 1867, and the lure of trains remains. Learn about Big Boy, Engine 1242. the Merci Train, Ames Monument, the Depot and more.

These Boots Are Made for Talking: Cheyenne is home to 18 eight-foot-tall boots that were designed by local artists to represent what Wyoming meant to them. From gamblers to Wyoming licenses, antelopes to old west memories, the boots make for a fun "treasure hunt" through Cheyenne. An audio tour of the boots is voiced by each boot's artist to explain what motivated them.
