Cody Hamil

Hi! My name is Cody Hamil and I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and I like to create art and other things for people. I've studied art, art books, and magazines for as long as I can remember. I also had great art teachers all through school. During high school I took some local college art classes and then after graduation I moved to Denver, Colorado, to attend art at a commercial art school for a few years.

I moved back to Cheyenne and continued self-study/teaching. Richard Schmid's books and videos have been an incredible help, and I am currently studying illustrating children books through the school of visual storytelling. I believe learning is a lifelong journey. I'm also always trying out different medias and styles to help prevent plateaus and blocks, (even though they always seem to show up now and then anyway).
