CFD How to Get Around

Parking Lots at Frontier Park, Eighth and Carey Avenues, charge $25 per vehicle. No overnight camping is permitted. Lots open at 7 a.m. and are locked at 1 a.m. Otherwise, parking is on the street of the neighborhoods south of the park. Be aware that strict parking rules must be followed, otherwise cars will be towed at owner's expense.

Handicapped / Assisted Parking

Individuals who need assistance with parking or seating should contact the Cheyenne Frontier Days ticket office at (307) 778-7222. Two designated parking areas are set aside; one near the ticket office (Eighth Avenue at Frontier Park), and the other in the "C" Lot off Carey Avenue. Volunteers are ready to assist with transportation.

Park and Ride

Cheyenne Frontier Days has a Park and Ride lot just a few minutes from Frontier Park. The parking lot is located off Interstate 25 on the "Missile Drive/Happy Jack Rd" exit. On southbound I-25 take exit 10D; Northbound take exit 10B. The "Bull" lot is at Happy Jack and I-25, Once parked, take the blue shuttle bus. For $10 per carload, you get service to the gate and back to your car, and it includes gate admission for everyone in the car.  The bus is handicap accessible. It runs from noon to 12:30 am the first Saturday through the final Sunday.

The City of Cheyenne's Transit System provides transportation to Frontier Park via the Cowboy Shuttle.  Parking is free, and the cost to ride is $1.50 per person each way (price does not include gate admission to Frontier Park). The buses are handicapped accessible.
