Denise Patton

Denise Patton’s public works include a recently completed Cheyenne Big Boot painted for Wyoming Air National Guard, and murals, one commissioned by Downtown Cheyenne. It commemorates the long relationship between the City and the Military. She has experience as a designer, theater set and museum exhibit builder, fine artist, and museum director.

She now has a downtown Cheyenne gallery/studio offering her watercolors, acrylics, oils, and pastels. Her work is in both public and private collections. Denise’s studies include Laguna Gloria Art Museum in Austin, TX, and Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Studio assistantships to public artist Richard Posner, stone sculptor Perry Davis, the late papermaker Ray Tomasso, and printmaker Margaret Sunday also influence Denise’s work.
