One of Cheyenne's most unique attractions! Take a tour on one of Terry Bison Ranch's custom-built trains to see ostriches, camels, a huge bison herd, and actually hand-feed the bison! Tours are every day except Christmas Day.
You can also go on a guided trail ride and seasonal Sunday lunch train. The Sunday Lunch Train departs at noon, May through Labor Day, but you need to purchase tickets before 5pm the Saturday before. Reservations are required. You can choose from a bison ribs platter, or fried chicken platter. The train is designed from an old-fashioned dining car and stops to let you visit with a herd of bison. Last, ATV Tours of the Ranch are available as well! Call ahead for times.
Stop by the Trading Post gift shop for unique gifts, buffalo meat, and activity sign-up. The ranch also has a RV park and cabins available all year. The Senator's Steakhouse serves buffalo burgers and steaks year-round.
Terry Bison Ranch is located just 7 miles south of Cheyenne off I-25. The 27,500 acre ranch is home to approximately 2500 head of American Bison.
Don't miss the chance to see these once nearly extinct, majestic creatures that once roamed the prairie in millions. Look for us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
