As the world of transportations continues to evolve, the demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations rises. Cheyenne, positioned at the crux of I-25 and I-80 is a logical hub for charging ports. In fact, even most residents are probably unaware that there are over 40 locations to recharge at around town (with more in the works)!

For those on the hunt for power, one quick resource is www.plugshare.com. The site allows users to filter by location, plug/vehicle type, minimum kW, user ratings, and more, helping drivers find the port they need.

The car dealerships are a natural fit to host stations, and many of Cheyenne’s dealers are off Westland Road, close to the interstate interchanges. However, if you’d prefer to wander and shop while you wait, there are stations going on Dell Range, with more being added soon. Community hubs like Blue FCU Headquarters and the High Country Harley-Davidson added this amenity.

Adventuring and burned through more power than you thought you would? Curt Gowdy State Park and Pine Bluffs both have stations to top off with… whew!

The list of stations is sure to grow – and we look forward to hosting environmentally minded drivers all year round!
